Men's Golf Australia Pennant 

Men's Golf Australia Pennant - Division 6 kicks off this Sunday with Churchill-Waverley playing at home (Endeavour Hills) against Werribee Park at 11.15 am - 1st Tee.  The team for this week will be as follows:

2. Mitch Ohlmus
3. Steve Ellis (C)
4. Daniel Pitchford
5. Jack Sudweeks
6. Aaban Tariq
7. Ayden Johnston

Members and visitors and encouraged to attend and support the team.  We currently don't have a volunteer to start the 10th tee, so this is something you are available to assist with from 11.00 am to 12.15 pm please contact Matthew Taylor - General Manager. 

Eastern Suburbs Seniors Pennant

With the chance to take top spot in the gold group and play finals we weren't able to get the job done.  Playing Eastern on their home track we went down 6 to 2 with one win and two halves.  Conditions were perfect but many said they couldn't read the greens and most finished after 16 holes.

The green team though not in contention for finals went down 4 ½ to 3 ½ half of those games finished very early. David Young and Yong Zhou playing 1 and 2 won.

John Jenkinson making his first appearance for the year also won.

The last round is at Eastwood this Friday 13 March and then the final at Yering Meadows.

Ladies Golf News

Last week's winner was Lynn Markby with Nett 71 on a countback.  

Next week we have Green Tee Day and look forward to a good fun day.  The following Wednesday is St Patrick's Day.  Come ducked in green, best dressed gets a prize.  

The Silver Spoon Winner this week was Joan Palmer with 40 Points.  The A Grade Winner was Saras Sanjappa with 39 Points and the B Grade Winner was Joan Palmier with 40 Points.
